Elder Platt’s Missionary Mail

  I got banned from using the word sikaday because I'm to good at using it. Sikaday pretty much turns a verb into a noun which is really usefull, but not in every situation I guess. There's some really good t-shirts here. They make me chuckle  Party till you're homeless TODAY I am 14 I love the music. Elder Thuern and I had to jump this gate because we got locked inside the church parking lot  Baptism for Froggie- Panha ពីទីបុណ្យច្រមុចទឹក- from the diving festival, word of the week means baptism but I thought the Google translate was funny so yeah. Diving festival, speaking of which, my friend Panha, or "froggie" as we like to call him got baptized! Very awesome experience 👏! Haircut- pulled up on a dude who was taking a nap in his barber chair, and had him clean us up. Excellent job, considering I couldn't understand any of his questions about what I wanted done with the hair. All I could really say is "please make me beautifle", sit down in the chair and hope for the best.  But yeah the launguage is coming but the more I learn the farther I realize I have to go.   This week a teaching friend sent us a picture of his friends leg on ice after a moto accident. From the knee down it looked like a pretty good leg. The experience was just a little jarring because his friend was in the hospital getting taken care of, and the leg was in the ice box for the photoshoot. So yeah I'm riding my bike alot more carefully nowadays after my crash and especially after that message because I don't wanna crash again. Other than that I went to the skate park today and some lady had a bunch of money and she kindly bestowed upon me 200$! Big miracle, as we were admiring our money, a roller skater rolled up on us and admired it as well. Together we realized the money was fake, but he was still interested in our message and we will meet with him again later this week so thats an awesome win win situation.   Contacting tricks and tip One of my other roomates named elder jhonsen taught me the ultimate method to contacting uncle-age people on the street. It has 6 big steps. 1) approach 2) ask if we've seen eachother before 3) ask how old he is in order to get x 4) use mental divide x by aproximatly 1.35-1.73. Ex: 46-->33 and 38-->26        4.1) say he looks like that age 5) ask if he has a family         5.1) if yes say you already know because his belly is so handsom (he is not wearing a shirt)         5.2) if no his belly is too hansome for one anyway! (and he still is not wearing a shirt) 6) give him a good solid belly slap (he giggles) and then you are "in" 7 [optional]) call him handsom again I was a little skepticle about the effectiveness of this method, but elder jhonson assured me of its potency. Christmas was last week and I wrote the following  message last week but forgot to send, and so now it will be sent, only aged, like fine cheese.  -------‐------------------------------------------ My companion has two completely different birthdays! Very cool😁 English Words of the week from elder thuen because he askes me about good words all the time.  -Saturated -Exaggerated -Exaccerbated I was trying to explain saturated and elder thuen says (aproximatly) "dang thats hard because saturated sounds like exaggerated and exaccerbated." He likes to read the dictionary and is super smart. So smart in fact, that his principle in middle school bumped him up 2 grades, but to do that, the principle just went in and changed his official birth certificate date to 2 years before he was actually born. So officially he was actually born right around the time his parents first met eachother. But unofficially he was born 27 months later, hence the 2 birthdays...
