So bussin, as they say. Also His wife made the best keyliime and chocolate moose pies that i think ive ever tried. So delisious and an explosion of flavor in my mouth. The richness was fithy rich, the sour of the lime mixing elegantly with the smoothness of the chocolate. Truely a divine experience. មីឆា I tried a poplar dish which sounds like Mi cha if said out loud. Theres a popular song wit

Ok it has been a week and a few days in the country so now so i already wanna hide in a corner, but alas i am a "person spread religion", and so i must do so. My companion/trainer (Elder caldwell) is like me but cooler so yeah maybe someday I can be like him. He is very good at khmer, so we've just been having an adventure together. Except i barely know what anyones saying so its like he's doing good work and im a tourist😁. Under his guidance ive made alot of progress, and now i can kind of just listen when he says something and imagine what he is talking about. Native speakers, not so ez for me.  This country is like suana. But the worst part of the sauna is after all, getting out and being all sweaty and relativley cold. Here in cambodia, I can just be sweaty and hot all the time and its no problemo. Cold showers are fun, when in other places i would never even consider them.  Frighteningly cool Lightning it seems to rain every day and alot of the time that inclu

ok so i wrote this last week, but i got tired and fell asleep instead of sending it so here it is.  This week started off rough but it wasnt to bad. Monday i tried again for my chocolate milk record. Got 5 cups down and promptly back up :(  aproximatly 2300 calories litterally down the toilet so thats very suboptimal for my bulk.  A couple hours later the bois and i were just standin around thinkin ( very dangerous situation) and someone decided to point out that their mom had sent them some hot sauce. They had complained that the food here at MTC was pretty bland, and so their mother decided to send a bottle of the hottestp⁰ sauce money can buy. Named something like "da bomb" and colored a dark red, this sauce is feared by those whove tried it and a delight to those who are able to watch its consumption occur.  So if you know me you know i had to try a scoop. I rate it, do not ever try again. Holy moly pain. There are no options for relief once grasped in the firey hands o

It was halloween this week so that was pretty cool. I have alot of candy so I was able to give to people who came to my door in funny costumes. I live in R7 (residence hall 7) and some Spanish speaking elders in R2 were going to have a halloween party in their dorms, so me and the boys got dressed up to head over. On the way there, we passed R6 and the people in there must have gotten too rowdy. As we passed their building the fire alarms went off, and that was startling to a group of missionaries who were about to participate in an activity that isnt getting ready for bed. So we kind of just hung out outside for a bit, and then we hear all these fire sirens, and a bunch of fire trucks pull up and police cars. Everyone is evacuating the building so its kind of chaotic. A perfect opportunity to get some cool pictures (down below). Anyways there was no real fire and I think it was just someone's popcorn that got cooked for too long. We never made it to R2 so that's kind of a bu
