Increase MSF for Polynesians

 Its been 3 weeks since transfers, this house is still quite delightful to live in. I didnt email last week because i got busy and forgot to click send, so now this will be a wombo combo 2 pack special treat.

Elder Hunt. The child. Aka Mr Australian/new Zealand/Samoan accent. (He eats alot. For example I can get stuffed from a big 3 dollar burrito on "3 dollar build your own burrito" night at Green Mango. But he, he downs 2 burrito, a plate of nachos and two cans of Sting. (Hence the title(he needs more money for food))).

For the work over here I've been talking to so many people in neighborhoods and parks and everything. Also I've been doing some great member work. The leadership in my current area has been described as the "strongest I've seen in cambodia" - dead Elder huang. So I love taking them and having then help teach lessons. 
This is good because it kills 3 birds with one stone by covering the gaps in my launguage, helping the student find a friend in the ward, and also builds the relationship between us missionaries and the members. Very cool.

Other than that I tried translating for the mothers day program. It's pretty fun I can pretty much just listen for words I know and then make up a story. The senior couple love my storys, they're pretty umm... good accurate representations of the khmer speakers intentions 👍 

I'm now a proud owner of a sword blade. Next week I'll go to the carver man and get him to carve me a handle. This is a #lifegoalsmoment for me completed.

Mother's day was last week so that was good, but you know what wasn't so fun to experience?
Streptococcus in my throat. In fact that was the worst thing this week, but I don't want to be negative so I'll talk about something cool I did...

Lumber jack pt 2


Elder Hunt bought a bunch of silverware and ill admit I chuckled to my self thinking "awww man good job! But what will you do with 2 swords, 2 daggers, an axe and a hatchet? Now you have to carry that around in your suitcase for the next 2 years lol"
But it turns out they had lots of use! We chopped down a ladies tree in her back yard and those brand new axes cut throught the lumber like scissors through grass. Very fun to chop with the boys

  I didn't have much time last week so here's a quick summary Exchange with ZL nydigger where I fell in a ditch.  Now he's going AP so it was cool to work with him for a day. Speaking of that transfer boards came out! I left battombang (the westernmost zone) and went to east zone. Specifically I am now serving in ta kmou which means black grandpa so thats cool 😎 .  What's not so cool is when I sent my bike and luggage through the carrier mail service,  the kind front desk lady heard "tma khoul" which is a small town 45 min north of my old area and certainly nowhere close to me. Tha khoul does. Not equal ta khmou Big confuse moment, as they say, but through some miracle I now have my stuff back 2 days later.  Also Im now on bike number 6 because bike number five was just bike number 3 but with new handlebars and the chain still not fixed!! Elder Thuern and I had to jump this gate because we got locked inside the church parking lot  Baptism for Froggie- Panha ពីទីបុណ្យច្រមុចទឹក- from the diving festival, word of the week means baptism but I thought the Google translate was funny so yeah. Diving festival, speaking of which, my friend Panha, or "froggie" as we like to call him got baptized! Very awesome experience 👏! Haircut- pulled up on a dude who was taking a nap in his barber chair, and had him clean us up. Excellent job, considering I couldn't understand any of his questions about what I wanted done with the hair. All I could really say is "please make me beautifle", sit down in the chair and hope for the best.  But yeah the launguage is coming but the more I learn the farther I realize I have to go. Conversations with native speakers eventually need to get passed on to my native companion.   I got banned from using the word sikaday because I'm to good at using it. Sikaday pretty much turns a verb into a noun which is really usefull, but not in every situation I guess. There's some really good t-shirts here. They make me chuckle  Party till you're homeless TODAY I am 14 I love the music. The music is important Hooters Los Angeles  Prime Minister hun sen invited alot of Christians to a big meeting, so we got to see the CEO of Cambodia give a speech. My good friend elder Haslam hit a sick kick flip on a tec deck before that meeting started so I was very impressed. I have a video, but I can't figure out how to attach it here so you'll have to trust me. Visited a friend's house with a dude we call bong jarom. Jarom is from Utah, but he went on a mission to Cambodia and finished a year or two ago. He then returned to this country, found a wife, and is now living here.
